Production.

Pre Production, Production and Post Production.

When creating a film there are multiple different things to think about and account for. Film making and producing is a time consuming process ranging from the cast and crew to transport and accommodation. Below is a list of the vital and key things to consider when producing a film :

  • Story
  • Script
  • Cast
  • Crew
  • Location
  • Lighting
  • Audio (music, sound effects)
  • Set design
  • Equipment (hire)
  • Editing
  • Cinematography
  • Catering
  • Makeup
  • Costume/wardrobe
  • Funding
  • Marketing
  • Scheduling (deadlines)
  • Sanitation
  • Accommodation
  • Transport
  • Props
  • Animal handlers
  • Armoury
  • Risk assessment

They all link together and are the vital things required for producing a film. Here they have been put into a table of either pre production , production or post production, some of which are in all three columns as they are vital in all three stages of the process. Pre production consisting of the things in which are considered before the filming process takes place ( funding, storyline, script), then production consisting of the filming process as well as things such as cinematography, makeup and lastly post production consisting of the editing and music/ audio.
